Diary In the Trenches October 17th, 1915 Today was my first day execute and living in the trespasses. I didnt get a good first impression to be honest. in that respect was scarcely any plaza to communi roame and move around the trenches. congestion was a common occurrence within the trenches. The largest and most headache pests were the rats. These regulate rats were huge! Sometimes, they would reach the size of a cat or even a small dog. These rats, as sanitary as feeding on the corpses of soldiers, would also feed on the soldiers food. There was one incident when a bunch of rats dapple and killed a cat and dog. They then went on to eat the corpse of them as well. The trenches were built up off three collimate quarrels of trenches, with side by side(p) communicat ing trenches connecting the three rows.
